Is everyone getting excited? I know I am.
Grand opening party tomorrow at the brewery! In case you don’t know where it is, you can now look it up on google maps (I just got that all dialed in last week).
Here are some additional details in case you’ve missed the intermittent updates:
I’ll have at least 3 beers on tap. The Chateau Americana, the 928 Local Farmhouse Ale, and a collaboration ale with Four Peaks (an english summer ale with peppercorns). I also have a little bit of a blonde ale brewed with New Zealand hops left, but that won’t last long, I’m sure. (there’s a possibility of a dark beer as well, but I need to check carbonation today).
The festivities will run from 3-9pm at the brewery on Saturday, October 13th.
Starting at 4:00, Fratelli Pizza will be serving extra-large slices at their pizza truck in the parking lot. They’re cooking them up right there, and will also have sodas available for purchase.
Starting at 5pm, we’ve got a local group coming by to play some music. I met them out at Art Walk last week (they were playing on Heritage Square if you were out and about). They’re called “Blue-Eyed Tomorrow” and are planning on playing for a couple hours.
I do have some bad news: The company that is supplying my growlers dropped the ball, and I won’t have any growlers for the opening. We’ve exchanged some unpleasant words about it, but the bottom line is that they won’t be here in time. That being said, if you want to bring a growler of your own, I can fill that up, and would be happy to do so.
I will have a full size run of t-shirts in both styles, both men and women’s sizes if you want one of those.
And yes, we can take credit cards if you need it.
Other than that, come by and have a beer, it’s going to be a good time!
